Former Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey has addressed the club’s supporters after finding a new team.

Amartey left Leicester when his contract expired earlier this season, with his time at the club marred by relegation to the Championship in his final season. The 28-year-old irked some supporters when he did not publicly address them after the season, like most of his teammates did. But he has finally released a message to the fans.

It has now been confirmed that Amartey has joined Turkish club Besiktas as a free agent, almost a month after officially leaving Leicester. He addressed fans of both clubs in a post on his Instagram today (Saturday).
