Celtic legend Scott Brown has paid homage to Tom Rogic following his retirement from sport.

The 30-year-old revealed his retirement as he opened up about personal concerns.

Rogic explained that he and his wife have struggled with fertility troubles in recent years, and that he now thinks the moment has come to focus on his family, with a two-year-old already in his arms and twins on the way.

The former Australian international had a tremendously successful spell in Glasgow, winning six league titles, five Scottish Cups, and five League Cups.

He departed the club in the summer of 2022, after Ange Postecoglou took over as manager. He afterwards signed for West Brom, but things never worked out as well as they had at Parkhead.

And ex-teammate Brown is among many who have paid tribute to the playmaker. “What a baller,” he said on Rogic’s Instagram retirement post. I wish you the best of luck in the future.”

Others who wished the Australian well included Ryan Christie, Liel Abada, Josip Juranovic, Aaron Mooy, Stuart Armstrong, and Joe Hart.
