Rodgers Confirms Massive Lazio Boost.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers praises his 'infrangibles' after they seal Invincibles title - Daily Record

According to Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, Cameron Carter-Vickers could return against Lazio.
The US international has not played since Celtic’s triumph over Aberdeen in August, after missing the conclusion of the previous season due to a knee injury.

Rodgers, on the other hand, is impressed by Carter-Vickers’ quick return from a hamstring injury. While caution will be exercised in his return, Rodgers has not ruled out the possibility of him playing in Wednesday’s Champions League match against Lazio at Parkhead.

“Cam, we wouldn’t take a risk unless he was fit,” Rodgers told Record Sport. He has done exceptionally well. He is further along than we anticipated. He’s had a great week of training and has done a lot of extra work on the field before that.

“I said before that his return could have been after the international break, but he’s made great strides.” So we’ll just see if he can make the squad tomorrow, and if he can, that’s certainly fantastic news for us.”

From the standpoint of a Celtic fan, having Carter-Vickers back, especially for such an important match, would be a huge boost for the team. His rapid comeback demonstrates his determination, and he might be a game changer in the Champions League encounter.

Celtic must win their match against the Italian club. After losing their first match in Rotterdam, it’s critical that they get their season up and going.
