Miami Hurricanes 2025 Recruiting Tracker

Miami is coming off of back-to-back elite recruiting classes. Mario Cristobal and his coaching staff want to make it three in a row with the class of 2025. Miami is recruiting nationally but there is a priority for UM as well.

One of the biggest areas of importance is recruiting South Florida and the rest of the Sunshine State. Stick with All Hurricanes as we update top class of 2025 prospects and Miami’s efforts to bring them to Coral Gables.

With the 2025 recruiting cycle now in full swing, there are going to be numerous prospects announcing visits, offers, and even sites making school predictions. That last point is something of note because top Miami linebacker prospect Tarvos Alford is now being projected to a Big 10 school.

Ohio State has long since recruited the Sunshine State hard and Alford is another example. The Buckeyes added two Florida recruits from the 2024 cycle, including elite wide receiver Jeremiah Smith from Miami Gardens (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna.

Miami is certainly doing its best to keep players like Alford home. He hails from Vero Beach (Fla.) High School and has been a prime prospect for the Canes. The 6-foot-2 and 210-pound defender is slated to be at Miami’s junior day on Jan. 27.

That list also includes the likes of Tampa (Fla.) Tech wide receiver Dallas Wilson and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Kayden Strayhorn, each a national recruit.
