Cincinnati — This week on ESPN, Aaron Schatz revealed his top free agency choices for each of the 32 clubs. One interesting choice for the Bengals is the former tight end for the Seahawks.

Fant is expected by PFF to sign a free agent contract of $8 million over three years, with a guaranteed $14.5 million.

“Fant has never quite lived up to expectations as a first-rounder, but that’s more an issue of usage than efficiency,” Schatz stated. “Fant finished seventh among qualifying tight ends in receiving DVOA this past season. He has positive DYAR in each of his five NFL seasons. The Bengals will need to address the position in the draft and free agency since every tight end on the roster is a free agent. CINCINNATI — Aaron Schatz dropped his top free agent fits for all 32 teams this week on ESPN and has former Seahawks tight end as a nice option for the Bengals.

PFF projects Fant to sign a three-year $8 million deal in free agency with $14.5 million guaranteed.

“Fant has never quite lived up to expectations as a first-rounder, but that’s more an issue of usage than efficiency,” Schatz wrote. “Fant has put up positive DYAR in all five of his NFL seasons, and he ranked ninth among qualifying tight ends in receiving DVOA this past season. Every tight end on the Bengals’ roster is a free agent, so they’ll need to address the position in free agency and the draft. Imagine what quarterback Joe Burrow could get out of Fant’s first-round talent.”
