Bojan Miovski of Aberdeen should be on Celtic’s radar.
Bojan Miovski looks good. Is he a player who Celtics should keep an eye on?
Bojan Miovski of Aberdeen is a player who continues to impress. In just over a year at the club, the North Macedonian striker has struck the back of the net 26 times in 55 appearances while contributing five assists, with eight of those goals coming already this season in all competitions.
He’s a big, strong target man who’s also good with the ball at his feet, which would enhance our team. We have Oh, of course, but he’s still young and developing, whereas Miovski is a little older and has more experience with our game and the European scene in general.
If he maintains his current form, more than a few clubs will be keeping an eye on him. Lazio, our Champions League adversaries, were rumored to be sniffing after him not long ago. Will Celtic have a vested stake in the outcome?
We can only hope. We sometimes dismiss players from our own league, but we’ve had some gems over the years that we’ve acquired from other SPFL clubs.
Miovski is a player who I believe would be an excellent addition to our offensive line. A valid critique of our team is that we lack a clinical poacher, which the North Macedonian could give, but only one man’s view matters, and that is Brendan’s.
We need a center forward, which Brendan was eager to fill during the last transfer window. Mathias Kvistaarden of Brondy and Sydney Van Hoojidonk of Bologna were mentioned frequently. Could the solution come closer to home in the form of Miovski?
