Pakistan team refuses to have dinner at the hotel, orders biryani and other delicacies
Pakistan cricket has reached a new low as the Men in Green are on the brink of crashing out of the World Cup with just two wins in six games.
Pakistan will next face Bangladesh in a do-or-die game at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on October 31. Ahead of their crucial game, there are reports that the Babar Azam-led side refused to have dinner at the hotel they are staying in and opted for famous Kolkata Biryani and other delicacies via food apps.
Sportstak reported that along with Biryani, they also ordered chap, firni, kebabs and shahi tukda from one of the famous restaurants of Kolkata via Zomato. They arrived in Kolkata on October 28 and also enjoyed the famous sweets.
When the team arrived in Hyderabad, their first venue of India trip, they enjoyed the Hyderabadi biryani, which became the talk of the town as several players took to social media platforms to praise the food.
Talking about their performance in this World Cup, Pakistan are placed 6th on the table.
