PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers got hit with another injury at linebacker, and brought their weekly total to four injuries as they begin preparation for the Green Bay Packers.

Heading into the practice week, the Steelers were expected to be without safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring) and defensive tackle Montravius Adams (ankle). Neither were present to start the week and are unlikely to be back on the field in time to play in Week 10.

Meanwhile, the Steelers added two more injuries, with defensive tackle Cam Heyward (groin) and inside linebacker Elandon Roberts (knee) being limited.

Heyward missed a chunk of the season after undergoing groin surgery after Week 1. He returned in Week 9 against the Titans but played more than anticipated. As a player who typically has a rest day throughout the week, it’s not surprising he was limited.

As for Roberts, the Steelers will hope the knee injury isn’t anything serious. Pittsburgh just lost inside linebacker Cole Holcomb for the season after undergoing knee surgery. Roberts and Kwon Alexander are set to start moving forward, and the team currently has just three inside linebackers on the roster.

With Roberts being limited, he’s a name to monitor moving forward.
