Machine Gun Kelly tries to bribe Travis Kelce to leave the Chiefs and play for the Browns. Did he accept the proposal?

Travis Kelce Gets $500K Offer from Machine Gun Kelly to Trade Teams

Travis Kelce is not the one to be bribed. How do we know that? In the last episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason, one Machine Gun Kelly tried to lure the star tight end to change colors and sign with his homeland team, the Cleveland Browns.

According to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, the rapper asked him to take his call during the most recent podcast broadcast without saying the reason for the call. The player accepted his friend’s request, having no idea what to expect.

I’m sure you get asked this question behind closed doors a lot,”Kelly began to the attentive listening of the Kelce brothers, “but I would be remiss if, due to the nature of our friendship and just as a Clevelander, if I did do not insert this question personally.”

Without further ado, the rapper released his request: “I will give you $500,000 cash upon arrival just for shopping or whatever you want, as well as matching that same amount as a donation to both of our high schools – both Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights.”

And that was not all, Kelly also offered “everyday breakfast and coffee delivery from my restaurant, if you would just come home and put on these colors right here.”

Travis’ response
Travis and Jason burst into laughter as soon as Kelly finished formulating his proposal, however, Travis admitted that it was “an intriguing offer.”

The Chiefs star admitted: “You know that was the original dream, dawg. You know that was the dream!” However, he did not give in to temptation and declined the proposal. “You know how much we love the East side of Cleveland, the Heights. I’m not gonna lie, the situation’s pretty good in Kansas City.”

Kelce’s response took a load off Chiefs fans, and Kelly seemed to handle the rejection very well. “My fingers (are) crossed, there is no decision that needs to be made right now, but just know my offer is real and it’s on the table,” said the “My Ex Best Friend” singer.

Kelce’s high school years
Travis attended Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland, Ohio, where he played basketball, baseball, and football.

The youngest Kelce stood out as a quarterback in the latter and was a three-year letter winner. Additionally, he received All-Lake Erie League recognition as a junior, totaling 2,539 yards.

In 2007, the then signal-caller rushed for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground, also contributing 1,523 yards passing and 21 touchdowns, against only eight interceptions.

Kelce graduated from Cleveland Heights with a scholarship to the University of Cincinnati.
