Recently, a defensive lineman with a bright future and a promising background was fired by “Coach Prime” Deion Sanders. The player having the most to prove on the Buffaloes transfer portal was named.

The timer is running out for Coach Prime to assemble his squad by 2024.

Now that another firing has taken place, supporters have yet another hint as to how things will play out this autumn football season.

The 5-foot-10 Florida native will not be returning to the program when it moves on to the Big 12 the following season, despite having 14 receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown in 2023.

Dawson’s 2022 rookie season included two receptions for thirty yards as well.

The Florida native said he was dismissed by the team after attending to a personal matter last week.

Dawson Shares Thoughts With Former Colorado football Teammates 

Dawson said he’s disappointed to be leaving the school, whose team went 4-8 last year under Coach Prime.

Colorado football’s spring game is schedule for April 27.

Coach Prime’s time to assemble his squad is running out as 2024 approaches.

With another dismissal, fans now have even more insight into how things will play out this fall football season.
