“We all know what Reyno brings to our club – he is our leader and our general and he has made a huge impact in a short time here at the Broncos,” Kevin Walters, the head coach, stated.

“With his family, he has established himself in Brisbane, and our supporters have truly taken him in as one of their own; Reyno is now very much a part of “us” in the Sunshine State.

“I’m looking forward to seeing Reyno running out to lead our team and helping bring out the best in our emerging talent, as well as continuing to do those things that only he can do with the ball in hand.”

Legendary player from Queensland Wally Lewis discussed Adam Reynolds’ re-signing with the Brisbane Broncos and the significance of his contract extension for Kevin Walters and the team.

Reynolds is an important player, Lewis said AAP.

“They needed to hold onto him since the younger players on the club look up to him for leadership.

“By staying on he has also dangled a carrot in front of himself so that he can go one better and get over last year’s grand final loss (to Penrith).”

Lewis went on to discuss Reynolds, saying that he has developed into one of the best leaders in the game and that he is crucial to his teammates’ communication.

“I’ve kept a close eye on him during practice and games, listening and looking for guys who talk.” Reynolds is always audible,” Lewis continued.

“At a match, you might be listening to him from the sidelines. He communicates all the time throughout training, which is one of a player’s best attributes.

It really is priceless and encourages others to act. It most likely motivates the man speaking as well.”
