Nottingham Forest Agree Deal For Norwich City Defender
Norwich City have agreed to sell defender Andrew Omobamidele to Premier League side Nottingham Forest, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Forest are having a busy end to the summer transfer window and want to make sure they have fully equipped boss Steve Cooper.
A late raid on Carrow Road has been launched by the Tricky Trees and it looks set to be successful.
Forest have gone in for Norwich defender Omobamidele and have managed to find an agreement with the Canaries.
It is unclear how much Nottingham Forest are forking out to sign the 21-year-old, who is an Ireland international.
The move is advanced however and well on the way to being completed.
Omobamidele is currently being put through his medical tests by Nottingham Forest.
If he comes through without an issue then he will be expected to sign a contract with the Premier League side to formalise his exit from Norwich.

But time was running out for a deal to be completed before the transfer deadline.
Nottingham Forest remain interested and have submitted a £25 million bid for Chalobah.
Though not quite as prolific as they were following their promotion campaign, Steve Cooper’s side have welcomed a number of new arrivals this summer including Anthony Elanga, Matt Turner and Chris Wood.
