All of the latest Newcastle United transfer rumours including reports on Bayer Leverkusen duo Amine Adli and Moussa Diaby, along with West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.

Adli interest?

Moussa Diaby is once again being linked with a switch to St James’ Park, having been listed as a potential target last summer. The France international has registered 14 goals and 11 assists this term at club level, and Bayer Leverkusen are said to be holding out for a fee in the region of £60 million before they would consider a sale.

However, the Guardian now claim Newcastle are ‘considering whether to firm up their interest’ in Diaby’s club team-mate Amine Adli. The France youth international has enjoyed a breakout campaign with six goals and six assists to his name, with AC Milan and Bayern Munich also credited with an interest.

The report insists Newcastle have registered an interest in both players, although Leverkusen would reportedly be more willing to part ways with Diaby this summer. Adli is contracted to the club until the summer of 2026, and Xabi Alonso would like to make the 23-year-old the focal point of his attack next season.

Moyes on Rice

Following months of speculation, West Ham boss David Moyes now admits there is a ‘good chance’ Declan Rice will leave the club this summer. The England international is said to be keen to test himself in the Champions League, although the Hammers’ reported price tag in excess of £100 million could prove to be prohibitive.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle have all been linked with the central midfielder. Speaking after West Ham’s Europa Conference League first-leg win over AZ Alkmaar, Moyes told reporters:”We honestly hope he stays.

“We’d love for him to be a West Ham player but we are aware that might not be the case at the end of the season. So that’s one of the scenarios around planning. There are plans that we have Dec here but we’re also fully aware there is a good chance we won’t have him.”
