Michael Owen predicts Everton to avoid relegation but sees Leeds United not playing Premier League football next season.

The former Liverpool striker believes that Leeds have the hardest fixtures among all battling relegation and that the Toffees have done enough to stay up.

However, he does believe they will gain something from their upcoming two Premier League games.

“Leeds have the hardest fixtures, arguably, and the second lowest points from teams there,” he told Premier League Productions [15/05, 22:19]. I can see them falling. Everton should be fine because they will still receive something.

require a victory

If Leeds or Leicester win, they will overtake Everton, who is only one point from the bottom-half of the table. While they would prefer to be in the 17th spot rather than the 18th or 19th, Sean Dyche must maintain his team’s focus.

Over the weekend, they play Wolves at Molineux, and they can bet on themselves to come away with three points from that match.

Wolves are already on the beach having secured their status in the Premier League for next season so this is the ideal time to play them.

They then host Bournemouth on the final day of the season and that’s another side that is not in a relegation fight anymore so should be relatively easier.

A recent Super Computer calculation has predicted them to stay in the Premier League and it’s now onto the players to go on and deliver.
