Kamara, 19, is firmly on the radar of the London outfit after breaking into the Championship club’s team at the end of last season.

Brentford have been keeping tabs on Kamara and they are weighing up a bid for the teenager as they see him as a potential star in the making.

The super-quick forward made his senior debut off the bench against Sheffield United in April and went on to make two further appearances as a substitute.

Kamara was promoted to David Wagner’s first-team plans after starring for the club’s Under-21s with 13 goals and two assists in just 15 games in Premier League 2.

His current contract at Carrow Road expires this month with the Bees eyeing up a move for the striker.

Thomas Frank’s side are looking for reinforcements up front after Ivan Toney’s football ban was confirmed.

The striker has been banned from football for eight months after he admitted to 232 breaches of the Football Associations betting rules.

Toney will be able to return to footballing activities on 16 January 2024.

As quoted by the Daily Mail after the ban was announced (19 May), Bees boss Frank insisted Toney’s future is with Brentford despite his lengthy ban.

Frank insisted the club will do everything to support the 27-year-old whilst he sees out his ban.

Brentford finished ninth in the Premier League in the 2022-23 season and are looking to strengthen this summer to cement their place as a top ten side.

Sources: Tottenham in talks to sign David Raya for cut-price fee

David Raya: Tottenham Hotspur set to walk away from talks to sign Man United target - Man United News And Transfer News | The Peoples Person

Tottenham are determined to land Brentford goalkeeper David Raya for a cut-price fee this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Friday (16 June) that Spurs have agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old shot-stopper.

Sources also told Football Insider on Friday that Man United are ready to hijack Tottenham’s move for Raya amid doubts over the future of David de Gea.

However, both sides are unwilling to meet Brentford’s £40million valuation for the Spain international.

Inter Milan’s Andre Onana is another option admired by Man United.

Raya, whose contract expires in June 2024, earns a reported wage of just £25,000-a-week – a low package by Premier League standards.

A well-placed source has revealed both interested clubs are engaging in a level of “brinkmanship” as they negotiate for the Brentford star.

It is believed both sides know the Bees will not risk losing out on an eight-figure payday to potentially lose Raya for free in around 12 months’ time.

Brentford have also already secured the signing of a new goalkeeper – with Freiburg shot-stopper Mark Flekken joining for a reported £11million last month.

Raya made 39 appearances across all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign – conceding 47 goals and keeping 12 clean sheets.

The Barcelona-born star is capped twice for Spain and has racked up 62 total appearances in the Premier League.

Tottenham will be without European football in the 2023-24 campaign – while transfer rivals Man United will return to the Champions League.

Hugo Lloris has admitted he wants to leave the Londoners in the summer window after 11 years at the club without a trophy.
