Ntanda, 17, has emerged on the radar of a host of English clubs after breaking into the Sampdoria side at the back end of last season.

The skilful winger made his first-team debut on the final day of the season away to champions Napoli after impressing for Sampdoria’s U19s in the Primavera 1 league.

The Belgium U18 international scored seven goals and provided two assists for Sampdoria’s youth sides last season and his performances have attracted interest from several sides across Europe.

Ntanda, who is a youth product of Belgian clubs Anderlecht, Mechelen, and Sint-Truiden, joined Sampdoria last summer and he has already made quite the impact with the Italian side.

However, Sampdoria face a major battle to keep hold of Ntanda this summer following their relegation from Serie A and they are bracing themselves for offers for the teenage sensation.

Luton – who are preparing for their first ever Premier League campaign- are keen to bolster their squad and they see Ntanda as a potential star in the making who they could develop with the offer of a quick pathway to first-team football.

It is set to be a busy summer for Luton Town manager Rob Edwards this summer, whilst the club’s hierarchy and recruitment team also face a hectic summer.

Naturally, promotion to the Premier League opens up more markets to the Hatters, meaning there will be attentive Luton eyes all across Europe.
