Nottingham Forest could be dealt transfer blow for Serie A star as fresh claims emerge
Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive brings you an update after Robin Gosens reportedly emerged as a link
Inter Milan star Robin Gosens could reportedly depart the club on loan this summer following interest from Nottingham Forest.
Earlier this week, reports claimed interest was hotting up for the 28-year-old, with Union Berlin, Bournemouth and Wolfsburg all keeping tabs with the player. Forest meanwhile, had emerged as the latest side to join the race.
It was also claimed that the player had “no preference” as to where his next club may be. According to Sky Sports Germany, Gosens is keen for a
move to ensure he’s a starter for Germany at the Euros next summer.
But the Bundesliga side are yet to begin negotiations with Inter over a potential deal. Inter are said to be asking for a fee of between €15-18million
(£13-£16m) but would be open to letting Gosens depart on loan.
There is a mention for a purchase obligation to be inserted in the loan deal too. Forest remain in the transfer market to sign a long-term
replacement to Renan Lodi who has returned to Atletico Madrid following the expiration of his loan at the City Ground.
