West Ham are reportedly in talks to sign Fenerbahce ace Ferdi Kadioglu this summer.

According to a report from Turkish Football, Fenerbahce right-back Ferdi Kadioglu could be West Ham bound when the summer transfer window officially opens.Hammers boss David Moyes will be very keen indeed to bolster his right-back options at the London Stadium before the start of next season.

Vladimir Coufal will be 31 in August whilst the jury is still very much out on Thilo Kehrer.

And it seems as though Moyes could be set to go shopping in Turkey for one of his first summer signings…

West Ham in talks to sign Ferdi Kadioglu

According to Turkish Football, the Hammers have begun discussions about bringing the 23-year-old Turkey international to the London Stadium this summer.

He is allegedly valued at around €20 million (£17 million) by Fenerbahce.

Kadioglu has bagged three goals and three assists in 30 Super Lig games this season. During those appearances he has averaged 2.1 tackles, one interception and one clearance per match (Who Scored).

The 23-year-old is a hard-working full-back, and possesses a really impressive delivery.

However, he is far from elite. It must be said though, he has a lot of potential and a high ceiling. I just feel like £17 million is fairly expensive for a player who is a complete unknown commodity in the Premier League.

Moyes definitely should be eyeing up a move to sign a new right-back this summer.

And with reports claiming that West Ham are in talks to bring Ferdi Kadioglu to the London Stadium, it seems as though that’s exactly what he’s trying to do.
